针对浦东新区地域范围大、企事业单位布分散的特点,为方便企业单位办理有关外事报批手续,自1998年起,新区外办即对新区一些因公出国（境）任务量比较大的单位提供了远程因公出国（境）任务申报的服务。在此基础上,为配合新区行政审批制度改革,顺应我国加入WTO后转变政府职能的需要,以先进的生产力更好地体现执政为民的指导思想,新区外办于年初专门开发了网站（www.shpdfao.gov.cn）,目前第一阶段的工作巳完成并于日前正式投入运行。 该网站是一个G2B性质的网站,除提供新区外办情况介绍、各类外事政策咨询、办事流程查询、表格下载等网站基本功能外,还提供因公出国审批结果查
