为贯彻落实党的十八大对科普工作提出的新要求和中长期目标,促进中国特色现代科技馆体系的建立形成,中国科学技术协会于2013年7月18～20日在北京展览馆主办了“第四届科技场馆展品与技术设施国际展览会”。展会展出面积为1万多平方米,来自全国的自然学科类科技场馆、科普教育基地、各行业学会和国内生产科普产品、展品的企业近90家单位参加了展览,展览集中展示了网络多媒体、立体模型和实景、互动设施、智能产品、3D和4D影视技术、数字和虚拟现实技术、展品配备和制作、物流网教育产品、软件开发以及出版业科普产品等
