The mixtare ratio failure detection for liquid propellant rocket engine has been studied by means of Kalman filtering and statistical hypotheses testing.A computer simulation of a variable thrust rocket engine demostrates that the algorithm developed by authors can effectively detect mixture ratio deviation.The simulation also gives some significant results useful for the practical application and the further research of the algorithm.
