大多数铸铁工件在棱角部分存在着硬点,有的硬度达HB300,加工时容易崩刃,轻者严重影响铸件表面粗糙度,重者则不能继续加工下去。目前,进口的加工中心一般都具有自适应扭矩控制系统。首先根据工件材料和使用刀具的切削性能选择好切削用量,在程序中设置适当的扭矩参数,然后进行加工。在切削过程中,如果遇到硬点,系统将自动调整,使进给量减小到安全的状态下切削,当硬点切削过,系统再自动调整,使进给量恢复到原来的数据切削。这样既可以采用大的进给量,又不会使刀具崩刀,降低了工件的表面粗糙度,同时大大地提高了生产率。
