Prior to the war of resistance against Japan, the educational functions of diaspora schools were relatively simple and clear. That is, they imparted basic knowledge and livelihood skills to overseas Chinese children and inherited traditional Chinese culture. This laid a good foundation for their continued study in the future. After the outbreak of the War of Resistance Against Japan, the environment faced by overseas Chinese changed. In view of the new mission and new tasks entrusted by the times, overseas overseas Chinese universities made corresponding adjustments in the course of their concrete operation so as to adapt to the characteristics and needs of the war in the country. While fully understanding the positive changes and contributions made by overseas overseas Chinese schools, its limitations and deficiencies should not be overlooked.
