The heat treatment of the general leaf spring is more troublesome, the process is complicated and inefficient. Hvarov, a Soviet engineer, recommends using an internally cooled quench jig to dry-quench the leaf springs. This dry quenching method, that is, between two quenching jets cooled by water circulation, placed on the leaf spring heated to quenching temperature, and then use it to clamp it tightly.
