三角梅品种繁多,现生产中栽培较广泛的有重瓣大红、单瓣大红、桃红、花叶金心、深红、橙黄、紫花等几十个品种。但这些品种普遍存在花色单一的特点,能否使一个植株开出2～3种颜色的花呢?2005年我们采用嫁接法将花叶金心双色三角梅和花叶红花三角梅两个品种嫁接在紫花和红花三角梅的桩头上,培育出了多花三角梅。未开花季节,金心和金边花叶相互衬托;花开时节,红、白、紫三种花争奇斗妍。做法其实也不难。
