“支架”原意是指人们在建造、修葺或装饰建筑物时,架设在建筑物外部,用以支持施工的各种各样的支架设施,俗称“脚手架”。后来用于教育界后,学者们称之为“支架”。基于支架原意,这一术语最先被国外一些教育学者等人借用来描述同行、成人或者有成就的人在他人学习过程中所施于的学习支持。在英语教学中是指教师依据学习者的具体情况所提供的适时地帮助、支持、指导、或信息输入。构建主义心理学家认为,语言学习支架是学习者获得新的语言结构的一种重要方式。
“Bracket ” is intended to refer to the various scaffolding structures, commonly known as “scaffolding”, that are erected on the outside of a building to support construction when people construct, repair or decorate a building. Later used in education, scholars call it “stent”. Based on the original meaning of the stent, this term was first borrowed by some overseas educational scholars and others to describe the learning support of peers, adults or accomplished people in the learning process of others. In English teaching refers to the teacher according to the specific circumstances of the learners to provide timely help, support, guidance, or information input. Constructivist psychologists believe that language learning scaffolding is an important way for learners to acquire a new language structure.
