Objective: To investigate the relationship between chromosomal abnormalities and poor pregnancy history. Methods: Peripheral blood karyotype analysis was performed in 155 couples (adverse pregnancy history group) with adverse pregnancy history and 145 couples (normal control group) before pregnancy. The incidence of chromosomal abnormalities in both groups was analyzed. Results: Excluding other chromosomal abnormalities, the incidence of chromosomal abnormalities was 11.61% in unhealthy pregnancy history group and 2.41% in normal physical examination group. The difference between the two groups was statistically significant. Conclusion: The incidence of chromosomal abnormalities in people with history of adverse pregnancy is significantly higher than that of the general population. Chromosomal abnormalities and adverse pregnancy history have relevance.
