与传统少数民族扎染集中云贵地区的情况不同,南通滨江临海,四通八达,处于江浙经济带上,是我国最早一批实行对外开放的城市之一。虽然起步较晚,但凭借良好的轻工纺织业基础,加之“靛蓝人间,衣被天下”的南通扎染手工艺基础条件,南通地区出现了一大批扎染企业。通过近三十年来的不断钻研创新,南通地区的扎染产业迅速崛起,形成在全国范围内最具规模的扎染产业群。 Different from the traditional ethnic tie-dye concentrated in the Yunnan-Guizhou region, Nantong Binjiang Linhai stretches in all directions and is located in the economic belt of Jiangsu and Zhejiang Provinces. It is one of the earliest cities in China to open to the outside world. Although started relatively late, but with a good foundation of light industry and textiles, coupled with the basic condition of Nantong tie-dye handicrafts in the world, there emerged a large number of tie-dye enterprises in Nantong. Through continuous research and innovation over the past three decades, the industry of tie-dye in Nantong has rapidly risen to form the largest group of tie-dye industry in the country.
