对两个普×爆组合F2代群体膨爆特性的分析结果表明,F2代膨爆特性较差,采用常规系谱法从中选育出优良爆裂玉米自交系的机率较小:膨爆特性可能是由主效基因存在的多基因控制的数量性状;各性状间多呈显著或极显著正相关,膨化体积对膨化倍数的直接正向作用最大,百粒重的直接负向作用最大,穗粒重和爆花率主要通过膨化体积起正向间接作用。
