The new center will be named the Key Materials Research Institute (CMI). Researchers will include nearly 10 universities, including the Colorado School of Mines and other nearly 10 private companies, including the National Laboratory of Oak Ridge National Laboratory and the National Laboratories of General Electric Company. Scientific research engineering and technical personnel, based in Ames Laboratory, the current Ames Laboratory
