The development of an enterprise is divided into two kinds: internalization and externalization. Internalization means the development of the enterprise through its own capital accumulation and ability enhancement. Externalization means the expansion of scale directly through mergers and acquisitions or alliances. In contrast, the externalized development model has the characteristics of quick results and low cost. Therefore, since the end of the 19th century, it has been highly valued by the Western business community.
