瓦斯抽放是综合治理矿井瓦斯灾害最有效的措施之一.瓦斯抽放效果的好坏,主要取决于合理布置钻孔.我国煤矿的钻机大多数为座箱式结构,陈旧落后,效率低,体积大,解体困难,使用不便.为了适应煤炭发展及安全生产的需要,必须研制小型高效的坑道钻机.近年来英国、西德、日本等国井下坑道钻机都向小型、高效、全液压方向发展,均采用框架滑台动力头式结构,其中较有代表性的是英国FRA系列钻机.
