中国当代艺术走到今天,已经到了一个令人困惑和尴尬的阶段,这种困惑和尴尬来自于中国当代艺术存在的不同层面的焦虑感,焦虑特征实际上构成了中国当代艺术止步不前的根本症候。过去十年间,如果说这些因素在中国当代艺术市场如火如荼、高歌猛进的时候被有意无意地遮蔽,似乎可以暂时忽略不计的话,那么在当前艺术生态的低潮下,这些焦虑所暴露出来的中国当代艺术的先天不足已经是我们无法回避的问题。对于这些焦虑的清醒认识和分析将有利于中国当代艺术冷静地正视自身,从而寻求自我的理性重建和民族身份的确认。
