限制膳食中的钠可对全面摄取营养造成有益或是有害的作用从而影响膳食质量,这个结果尚未在临床试验中被特别提出。尽管在高血压预防性试验中,大多数食物的摄入都因限制钠而明显减少;但另有三项大的临床试验表明,限制钠对同时发生的能量和营养的摄入可产生不同的影响。从部分有价值的材料解释限制钠与其它干预措施的联系是有困难的,而钠不足也不能反映稳定的膳食结构。
Limiting the sodium in the diet can have a beneficial or detrimental effect on total ingestion of nutrients and thus affecting the quality of the diet, a result that has not been specifically addressed in clinical trials. Although the intake of most foods is significantly reduced by sodium restriction in the prophylaxis trials for hypertension, there are three other large clinical trials that have shown that limiting the effect of sodium on the simultaneous intake of energy and nutrients can have different effects . It is difficult to explain from some of the valuable materials the limitation of the link between sodium and other interventions and the lack of sodium does not reflect a stable diet.
