四川省水稻高粱研究所,对我国新发现的重要种质资源光敏核不育水稻进行了转育和组合测配。日前,全国水稻专家们对此进行了评审,认为这种新技术可望在今后两年内推广应用。光敏核不育的利用,是去掉原三系杂交水稻中的保持系,用两系代替三系,打破了三系的恢保关系,从而可以更自由培育出更高产的杂交水稻新组合。目前已进行的大量研究表明,光敏两系法不仅能使杂交稻种子生产程序从简,省工,降低成本,它的重大价值还在于可以直接利用籼粳亚种间的杂种优势,选到可以比现有组合增产20%以上的超高产组合,大幅度提高粮食产量。
Sichuan Province Institute of Rice Sorghum, China’s newly discovered important germplasm resources of photoperiod-sensitive genic male sterile rice were transferred and combined with the test. Recently, the national rice experts reviewed this, that this new technology is expected to promote the application within the next two years. The use of photo-sensitive genic male sterility is to remove the maintainer lines of the original three-line hybrid rice, replace the three lines with two lines and break the relationship between restorer and maintainence of the three lines so that the new combination of higher yielding hybrid rice can be cultivated more freely. A great deal of researches have been done so far. It shows that the photosensitive two-line method can not only simplify the process of seed production for hybrid rice, but also reduce the cost. The important value of this method is that it can directly utilize the heterosis between indica and japonica subspecies, The existing combination of more than 20% yield increase of ultra-high-yield combination, significantly improve food production.
