This paper argues that the Zhenzhumen Culture, mainly distributed in the Northeast and Southeast of Shandong province, and northern Jiangsu province, can be di-vided into three local types respectively. All of them are characterized by group of sandy brown pottery without decorations and lasted from late Shang to middle Western Zhou peri-od and represented the culture of the Yi people.
