在汉语语源学研究中,确定同源词的语音关系大致有两种不同的标准,一种是声韵兼顾说,认为同源词必须声韵皆近,声远或韵远皆不得视为同源;另一种是“双声”说,认为只要声母相近即可认定为同源,而不必考虑韵际关系。后者经常遭到人们的批评甚至诟病。《说文解字约注》研究同源词采用的就是“双声”说,本文通过具体的测查分析表明,这种“双声”说其实也是声韵兼顾,并没有忽视韵际关系,只不过在声际关系方面表现得稍微突出而已。 In the study of Chinese etymology, there are roughly two different criteria for determining the phonetic relationship of homonyms.
