In order to increase the utilization rate of specialized trucks and reduce transportation costs, Japan recently produced the ホ キ 7600 cement and coal dual-purpose hopper car (Figure 1). The vehicle can be loaded with cement or coal by manipulating the flap in the vehicle to adjust the position of the rubber diaphragm through the handle on the pedal. When the reversing plate is turned to the outside, the rubber diaphragm is bulged in the center of the vehicle, and the cement can be loaded into the rubber diaphragm from the loading port. When the reversing board is turned inward, the car is similar in shape to the 1980-type coal hopper truck made in 1980 except that the car has a rubber diaphragm so that it can be loaded with both cement and coal.
