We reviewed CT data of 46 cases of local recurrence of rectal and sigmoid colon cancers and 20 cases of postoperative fibrosis changes in order to improve the differential diagnosis of CT on postoperative recurrence and fibrosis. I. Materials and Methods From the CT scans of 206 cases of rectal and sigmoid colon cancer that were encountered between January 1990 and January 1998 in two hospitals, 46 patients with local recurrence confirmed by reoperation were selected. ?
