经济欠发达地区在英语专业师资、专业设置、课程设置、招生规模、专业建设的经济投入等方面存在诸多问题。针对这些问题,这些地区应加大对英语专业的经济投入,逐步提高师资的科研能力及学历、职称水平。英语本科专业应根据办学单位的人才培养目标确定英语专业的人才培养目标和人才培养方案。在办学中坚持多元性的办学原则,培养适应不同市场需求的英语人才。在教材和教法上打破传统,把现代化的教学手段运用于教学中。英语相关专业的硕士点应加强硕士生导师队伍建设,严把硕士生毕业论文质量关,同时,这些地区应争取在英语相关专业博士点的建设上有所突破。
In economically underdeveloped areas, there are many problems in English majors, professional settings, curriculum, enrollment scale, and economic investment in professional construction.
