2001年1月17日,中国互联网络信息中心(CNNIC)在北京发布了最新的《中国互联网络发展状况统计报告》。报告显示,截止2000年12月31日,中国上网用户超过2000万人;在上网人群中,有52.66%的用户最想在网上获得“休闲娱乐”方面的信息;51.37%的用户上网的主要目的是为在网上休闲娱乐;而21.34%的用户认为目前网上的休闲娱乐信息还远不能满足其需要。不经意间,中国网络界悄然兴起的名人上网热,似乎在这个很具权威性的统计报告中找到了最好的解释。
On January 17, 2001, China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC) released the latest “Statistical Report on Internet Development in China” in Beijing. The report shows that as of December 31, 2000, there were more than 20 million Internet users in China. Among the Internet users, 52.66% of users most want to get information on “entertainment” online. The main purpose of 51.37% of Internet users 21.34% of users think that the current online entertainment information is far from meeting their needs. Inadvertently, the rising popularity of celebrities in China’s Internet industry seems to find the best explanation in this very authoritative statistical report.
