蕾丝是欧洲独特的精美织绣品,曾经风靡欧洲宫廷约400年,是奢华与身份的象征。由于清代总体奉行闭关锁国的对外政策,尤其禁限西方女性入境,这对当时中西文化特别是服饰时尚交流有着巨大的阻碍。可是即便如此,蕾丝的身影在清宫200多年的时间里也以不同的形态出现过。本文从文献、绘画、照片、文物等史料中进行耙梳整理,试图表明蕾丝这一最具西方色彩的装饰元素,在清宫中的身影随着西风东渐越来越清晰,以此做为了解那个时代生活的一条线索。
