Since Folkman proposed the concept of tumor angiogenesis in 1972, more and more studies have shown that angiogenesis is a prerequisite for tumor growth and metastasis. The study of angiogenesis plays an important role in elucidating the biological behavior of tumors and opening up new avenues for the treatment of tumors.
