作者认为，我国改革开放以来在利用外资方面取得了巨大的成绩，但同时，实际工作中的深层次问题也逐渐暴露出来，其中最为突出的有：优惠政策与市场经济本质的矛盾；外资流入与通货膨胀的矛盾；利用外资与产业政策协调方面的矛盾；利用外资与内资闲置的矛盾；利用外资与国有资产流失的矛盾；利用外资与资本外逃之间的矛盾。文章对这几对矛盾作了详细的分析，为我国未来经济发展更好地利用外资提供了理论依据 The author believes that since the reform and opening up, China has made great achievements in utilizing foreign investment.
