“Yellow Distress ” theory is the earliest version of “China threat theory ”, in a variety of “yellow calamity ” theory, Russia “yellow calamity ” theory has the most representative meaning. From mid-19th century to 1938, a large number of Chinese immigrants and Korean immigrants poured into the Russian Far East, occupying an important position in the population of the coastal area, which made the “Yellow Peril” theory very vanguard. The Russian authorities harbor a very contradictory mentality toward the immigrants of China and the DPRK. The changes in population and the intervention of the Japanese factor also make the role of immigrants between China and North Korea interchangeable. Studying this period of history in depth can not only reveal the specific historical background of the Russian version of the Yellow Peril, but also further explore the population mobility in the multilateral relations between China, Russia and the Korean Peninsula.
