Objective To understand the fluorine exposure level and urine fluoride level of electrolytic aluminum workers. Methods From March to September 2013, 141 laborers from an aluminum plant in Shandong Province were collected, and the company had never contacted the management of electrolytic aluminum operation and the morning urination of 150 logistic staff. According to GBZ 5-2002 fluoride ion selection Electrode method. And in accordance with GBZ / T 160.36-2004 fluoride ion selective electrode method to determine the concentration of fluoride in the workplace air. Using t test, F test for statistical analysis of the data. Results The urinary fluoride content of 141 electrolytic aluminum workers (observation group) was 0.63 ~ 9.45mg / L with an average of 1.82mg / L. The urine fluoride content of 150 control workers was 0.26 ~ 2.25mg / L, with an average of 0.99mg / L, The urinary fluoride content in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group (P <0.01). Male workers urinary fluoride mean (1.89mg / L) higher than female workers (1.67mg / L) (P> 0.05). The urinary fluoride content of workers exposed to working years (<1, 1 ~, 6 ~ 10,> 10 years) in observation group were 1.53,1.86,2.09,2.37mg / L respectively (P> 0.05) Increasing trend of increasing. The average concentration of fluoride in the air in the workshop (2.24 mg / m3) exceeded the time-weighted average allowable concentration of occupational exposure and was much higher than the concentration of fluoride in the air in the living area (0.017 mg / m3). Conclusion The urinary fluoride content of electrolytic aluminum workers was significantly higher than that of non-electrolytic aluminum workers, and there was a trend of increasing with the length of service. Workers exposed to fluoride levels higher.
