Since the lower limit of the Liangzhu Culture era has been basically confirmed [1], the lack of chronology between the Liangzhu Culture and the Maqiao Culture has been a focus of the exploration of prehistoric archeology in the lower reaches of the Yangtze River. The new findings at the Guangfu Lin site in Shanghai at the turn of the century provide important clues to fill this gap.
