大河铜矿属小型富集铜锌矿床。矿脉具有分枝复合、膨大缩小现象,沿走向及倾向均呈波状弯曲,由西向东斜下延伸。矿脉厚度0.2～6米,平均2米,倾角50～75度。由于四条矿脉均处在挤压破碎带内,矿体揉皱、破碎、错动,矿脉与围岩接触明显。两帮围岩片理发育,矿石围岩少部分属中等稳固,多数稳固性较差,坚固性系数f=3～6。因此,矿床开采较为困难。开采初期,回采220米中段矿块
