The purpose is to investigate the effects of hypobaric hypoxia on the core temperature of animals. Methods The body core temperature at 5000m and 5000m at 10 ℃ and 20 ℃ was measured in the temperature-controlled low-pressure cabin of homemade animals. Results Compared with the ground group, the temperature in the body of rats at the same temperature was significantly lower (P <0.01). Conclusions Peripheral vasodilatation due to hypobaric hypoxia leads to a decrease in body core temperature.
