现代铝电解厂采用大型中间下料预焙电解槽、干法烟气净化系统，对氧化铝除了要求其具有较高的纯度和稳定的质量外，还要求其具有优良的物理性质：流动性好、强度高、溶解性好、不产生粉尘、具有较高的比表面积等。本文讨论了氧化铝质量对铝电解的影响，探讨了改善氧化铝质量以满足现代铝电解要求的措施，为氧化铝厂如何满足现代铝电解用氧化铝的质量要求提出了改进方向，具有一定的指导意义。
