Due to manufacturing errors and other reasons, there must be variations in the weight of the components. China’s early design specifications clearly stipulated the overloading coefficient of the structure’s weight; the current design code adopted the comprehensive safety factor, which also implied the overloading factor of the structure; the revised specification will be considered in the form of load sub-coefficients. In order to determine the structural self-weight deviation, a weighing survey was conducted on the self-weight at the end of the 1970s.
