以甲醇和叔丁醇为原料,在稀硫酸催化下,加热脱水合成甲基叔丁基醚(MTBE).产物结构经核磁共振鉴定证实。本法与其他方法比较,具有产率高,产物易纯化和操作简单等优点,尤其适用于医学科研中少量 MTBE 的合成.本文还对反应机理,条件及副反应等有关问题进行了讨论。
Methyl tert-butyl ether (MTBE) was synthesized by heating and dehydration catalyzed by dilute sulfuric acid using methanol and tert-butanol as raw materials. The structure of the product was verified by 1H NMR. Compared with other methods, this method has the advantages of high yield, easy purification and simple operation, especially suitable for the synthesis of a small amount of MTBE in medical research.In this paper, the reaction mechanism, conditions and side reactions are also discussed.
