Background: Allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation can treat non-malignant diseases in many children. Low-intensity mediator transplantation can achieve the same effect and reduce toxicity. We conducted small-scale pilot studies to determine the many issues associated with the treatment of low-intensity hematopoietic stem cell transplantation in children with non-malignant diseases such as: graft engraftment rate, engraftment kinetics, graft toxicity and acute transplants Host disease (GVHD).
