津春４号是利用两个抗病丰产的自交系Ｊｉｎ－９０－３和７６－２－１－１－６－４杂交而成的黄瓜一代杂种。该品种抗霜霉病、白粉病、枯萎病的能力接近津杂２号。较早熟，长势强，以主蔓结瓜为主，主侧蔓均有结瓜能力，且有回头瓜。瓜条棍棒型，白刺，略有棱，瘤明显，瓜条长３０～３５ｃｍ，心室小于瓜横径１／２。瓜绿色偏深有光泽、肉厚、质密、脆甜、清香、品质良好。产量超过津研４号４ｏ％～５０％。该品种适宜小棚、地膜覆盖、春秋露地及秋延后栽培。已在全国２０多个省市示范推广１．３万ｈｍ２以上，深受广大菜农的欢迎。
