所谓复杂地层，对我队来说指的是漏水、坍塌、掉块、溶洞。在不同的地区又有不同的表现。例如，在丰沛地区，（丰县、沛县），主要是第四纪浮土层的坍塌漏失和灰岩的溶洞漏失。而在铜山县利国地区，主要是蚀变、花岗岩破碎带漏水坍塌和部分灰岩溶洞漏失。由于钻孔深度多在600至800米，有的孔1000米，施工周期较长，因此，护壁工作更显得重要。目前，我们在这些地区施工，还是采用泥浆、水泥和套管进行护壁工作。
