DT466E型电控喷射式柴油机是美国万国汽车公司20世纪90年代中期为适应世界范围内对柴油机废气排放的控制而研制的最新产品,广泛用于中、重型卡车、自卸车和石油钻探设备。该柴油机选用德国西门子公司柴油机管理系统,依靠进气绝对压力传感器、大气压力传感器、进气温度传感器,以及高效率的废气涡轮增压器和中冷器等有效地控制了柴油机的废气排放和噪声;该机管理系统在供油时间和供油量的控制上与传统的机械式供油系统有着本质的不同。因此,在故障诊断和排查方面与传统柴油机有许多不同。
