Seabuckthorn oil is an oily substance that floats during the storage of the plant hippophae Hippophae rhamnoides L. juice. The biological activity of sea buckthorn juice has attracted the attention of scholars at home and abroad. Plant buckthorn is a pharmacopoeia, and the series of plant buckthorn products in China has begun to be applied. The authors obtained 5.76% unsaponifiable matter and 94.24% saponification from the chloroform solubles of seabuckthorn oil in Jianping County, Liaoning Province, China.
