《关于泵阀问题的讨论》一文(见本刊今年第四期),提出了石油钻采用往复泵的一个关键问题。在使用中,70年,我们在江汉曾发现,在某一井的钻井过程中损坏了180多副泵阀。在设计、制造中,泵阀对往复泵的发展有一定的阻碍作用。目前所使用的钻井往复泵一般都较笨重,其主要原因是其冲数n低。而影响冲数提高的一个很重要原因,过去是被阀的冲击条件(nh最大≤800—1100)所限制的。马德坤同志在《讨论》一文所提出的课题的研究,对泵的使用和设计都有着很重要的意义。
