应用多元逐步回归分析的方法对浮选过程控制中一些无显著影响的因于加以剔除，然后选出对因变量最显著的因子加入回归方程。所开发的软件曾对王集选矿厂浮选车间的原始数据进行分析，结果证明软件是成功的。
Applying multiple stepwise regression analysis to remove some of the factors that have no significant effect on the flotation process control, and then select the most significant factor for the dependent variable into the regression equation. The software developed had analyzed the raw data of the flotation plant at Wangji Concentrator and the results proved that the software was successful.
