一、问题的提出在编汇唐山地震目录时,遇到很多限幅地震,用本区台网无法测定震级,因此只好借助于远台,这样会使震级标准不统一,从而造成一定的误差。因此,考虑用地震记录的振动持续时间作为测定地震震级的尺度。为此,我们把持续时间与其震级作了对比,得到了唐山余震震级与记录振动持续时间的关系式,并由该关系式测得限幅地震的震级。

Therefore, consider the duration of seismic records as a measure of earthquake magnitude. To this end, we compare the duration with its magnitude, and obtain the relationship between the magnitude of the aftershock in Tangshan and the recorded duration of vibration. The magnitude of the amplitude-limited earthquake is measured by this relation.
