蒋孟引先生主编的《英国史》(中国社会科学出版社出版发行)即将同读者见面。笔者先读为快,深感有幸。此书共17章,约60万字,所述英国史上起史前时代,下迄20世纪70～80年代,是原教育部高校教学用书编写计划中最先出版的一部国别史著作,也是我国大陆学者撰著的第一部系统详备的英国通史。从整体看,此书标志着我国的英国史研究达到了新的高度,并对有关的多学科的教学与研究均有重要参考价值。
The British History (published by China Social Sciences Press), edited by Mr. Jiang Meng-ying, is about to meet with readers. The author first read as fast, deeply fortunate. The book consists of 17 chapters, about 60 words, the British history from the prehistoric era, until the 20th century, the 70-80 years, is the original teaching department of the Ministry of Education program written in the first book published in a country history works, but also our country The first system written by mainland scholars wrote a detailed history of Great Britain.
