“马太效应”是社会学中的一个概念,它渗透在人们生活、学习的各个方面,其影响无处不在。目前,教育界学者越来越多地关注马太效应在教育中的双刃作用,但外语教学中的马太效应,却很少引起人们的注意。本文旨在分析外语教学中的马太效应与学习者情感因素之间的联系,以此找到一条有效途径限制马太效应对外语教学的负面作用。
“Matthew effect ” is a concept in sociology, it permeates in all aspects of people’s life and study, its impact everywhere. At present, academics in education pay more and more attention to the double-edged role of Matthew’s effect in education. However, the Matthew effect in foreign language teaching seldom draws people’s attention. The purpose of this article is to analyze the connection between Matthew Effect and learner emotion in foreign language teaching, so as to find an effective way to limit the negative effect of Matthew Effect on foreign language teaching.
