前言欧、美、日各国,研究乳化沥青已有五十年的历史。但在较长时间内,研究应用的是阴离子沥青乳液。到六十年代后期,随着石油工业和油脂化工的发展,给阳离子沥青乳化剂的研制工作创造了条件。使阳离子沥青乳液的应用得到了迅速的发展。法国1955年阴离子沥青乳液用量为45.5万吨,到1973年降为5万吨,而阳离子沥青乳液用量为 110万吨;日本1959年阴离子沥青乳液为10万吨,到1973年降为4万吨,而阳离子的上升为70万吨。其他如美、英、苏、加等国也都在大量应用阳离子沥青乳液,从而加速了油路的发展,提高了路面的铺装率与好路率。我国自1978年以来,交通部公路科研所与辽宁、河南、吉林等省市有关十一个单位,协作攻关,相继开展了阳离子沥青乳液的应
