Objective To investigate the expression and significance of p53 and Ki67 in breast cancer tissues. Methods Immunohistochemical Max Vision method was used to detect the expression of p53 and Ki67 in 108 cases of breast cancer, and its correlation with clinicopathological features was analyzed. Results (1) The positive rate of p53 protein was 48.2%, which was correlated with histological grade, clinical stage, tumor size, molecular typing, expression of HER-2, ER and PR (P <0.05). (2) The positive rate of Ki67 protein was 95.4%, which was correlated with lymph node metastasis, histological grade, molecular typing, expression of HER-2, ER and PR (P <0.05). (3) p53 was associated with Ki67 protein expression (P <0.05). Conclusion The expression of p53 and Ki67 in breast cancer is related to clinicopathological characteristics, which may provide a powerful basis for the clinical treatment and prognosis evaluation of breast cancer.
