本文使用OECD国家及中国1984-2010年的数据,计算得出样本国历年的制造品出口商品篮子技术含量(TCI)。在此基础上,对中国、日本及美国制造品TCI的发展趋势进行比较,发现中国制造品的TCI以比美国及日本更快的速率上升。本文利用2010年全部样本国的截面数据验证得出:中国制造品的TCI远超其人均GDP相应的TCI值。说明中国实施的这种着力发展高技术含量制造品生产与出口的产业政策与贸易模式保证了中国制造业产出的持续提高及整个经济的长期高速增长。
In this paper, we use the data of OECD countries and China from 1984 to 2010 to calculate the technical basket of manufactured goods (TCI) in the sample year. On this basis, a comparison of the development trends of manufactured goods TCI in China, Japan and the United States shows that the TCI of manufactured goods in China has risen faster than that of the United States and Japan. In this paper, cross-sectional data of all sample countries in 2010 are used to verify that the TCI of China’s manufactured goods far exceeds the corresponding TCI of its GDP per capita. This shows that China’s industrial policy and trade mode of focusing on developing the production and export of high-tech manufactured goods ensure the continuous improvement of the output of China’s manufacturing industry and the long-term rapid growth of the entire economy.
