The energy method is used to solve the problem of delamination and buckling of the elliptical surface of the fiber bridge in 3D composite materials such as tie-laminate and braided laminate. Bridging fibers are considered as linear springs that are continuously distributed on the delaminated surface and provide a restoring force proportional to the delamination flexion deflection. The examples show that the effect of fiber bypass on increasing the critical buckling load is very obvious.
