氯化亚铜含量的测定,通常采用以高锰酸钾或重铬酸钾为滴定剂的滴定法。高锰酸钾滴定法易受外界条件的影响,终点不稳定;用重铬酸钾滴定时结果不稳定,特别有铜离子存在下滴定亚铁时,铜离子会加速空气氧化亚铁离子,测定结果偏低。据此拟定了用铈量法测定氯化亚铜的含量,其要点是:用三氯化铁溶液溶解亚铜盐试样,溶液中Fe~(3+)被Cu~(+)定量还原为Fe~(2+),滴入硫酸铈后Ce~(4+)与Fe~(2+)反应,Fe~(2+)被氧化为Fe~(3+),指示剂邻菲咯啉颜色由红变绿即为终点。方法滴定终点清晰、准确可靠,操作简便快速,标准偏差在0.08%左右。
