The non-linear discrete-time system is approximated by a nonlinear interpolation based on quadratic interpolation polynomials with M 櫣 ller method, and an adaptive control algorithm independent of the controlled system model is given. The convergence of the algorithm is discussed. The algorithm is correct and effective for a model-free system to realize model-free adaptive control
